Foundations 3D Design
3D Design is the second course in the foundation visual design sequence. The main focus of this course is the understanding and development of critical thinking skills as they relate to the perception of depth and form. Students learn and implement essential three-dimensional design theory using a range of mediums such as paper, clay, plastics, wood, metal and digital media. The 3D studio is located in the sculpture facilities and students have access to a wide range of sophisticated process studios, including a digital media lab with 18 iMac workstations, laser printer and LCD projection system.
